List all previous visits to the united states..

If I have been here since 01/1997 - till present on H1B and have visited India in between (usual 3-4 weeks vacation), do I have to break up and give it as two separate stays in the US? For example
01/1997 - 11/1997 US
12/1997 - present US etc
 
you have to specify visits with different visa status

like maybe before you go to India you were F1 and on return you were H1. Only then mention the visits. Otherwise dont.

OR...If u read the #25 completely it says....

List all previous visits to or residence in United states....

I have choosen to give all the different addresses where I lived in USA along with my non-immigratant visa status ( F-1/OPT/H-1 etc ...)

In your case u I guess its all H-1.

That\'s my 2cents....but double check with ur lawyer...or some CP gurus can correct me if I\'m wrong... BTW, I\'m still yet to go for Interview though..So experts pls shed some light..
 
Any Idea about A# in Item 25, DS 230 Part I

can u guys tell me what is A# and does one get an A# in either H4 or H1 status.
