I've been working as a clinical researcher at an institute under a physician for 1.5 years ( non paid job) in INDIA.
My CV has the information about this work experience.
1) Should I consider this an employment and mention it in DS 157? or leave this period as blank?
What constitutes employment? IS it mandatory to have pay to be termed as an employment?
2) I was supporting myself during the period ( self employed) can I mention self employed during the above mentioned period? But won't this be a discrepancy when compared with CV work experience?
