Drop box - confusion -h1 revalidation (stamping for the extension)

Reading the memo about drop box: http://chennai.usconsulate.gov/wwwhpr040625b.html, it looks like there won't be a drop box facility at all. So went to tt services to get an appointment for my h1 revalidation (stamping for the extension).

It asks series of questions and in between one of questions is

You are renewing or replacing a visa of the same category provided the previous visa has not been expired for more than twelve months (i.e.,365 days).
IF I chose yes,

It says:
You are eligible to use the dropbox service that does not require a personal interview. Would you like to appear for a personal interview at the US Embassy/Consulate? Yes No

If I chose No, it gives me a chance to use drop box after jun 30, which contradicts the memo

can someone help? Is the drop box facility still available for h1 revalidations?
I am trying to get my passport stamped at chennai.

Go by what the consulate says and select interview option. TT services might not have updated their online appointment system.
