Driving history (TEXAS)

Hi everybody,
I was wondering if somebody could share their experience on what type of record to get from Texas Department of Public Safety (this is DMV equivalent in Texas, in my understanding). I have requested a type 3 record [i.e. Complete Driving History as per their information] and received one page that says current status is "CLEAR". Is this sufficient? Note that I have never received a ticket of any kind.

This DMV record of course is not requested in the interview letter but I am hoping to collect as much information as I can. Thank you for your help.

Regards,

Immigration Officers doesn't look for your driving records unless it includes misdeamenor, Immigration always look at your application if you have a criminal records and it might affect your citizenship. Good luck

dougalted,

I lived in Texas for 5+ years. While trying to get my driving record, I found out that tickets are expunged from the system after 3 years. I stated that in my N400 application and no issues were raised regarding this. My oath ceremony is scheduled for Feb 9, 2006

Hi JunCel & solasoy,
Thank you for your help. On this forum I have seen a number of cases on how to deal with traffic tickets but haven't seen much on what one does if he/she has never got a ticket. Of course on N400 I declared I have never got any but just for interview preparation I would think a paper from DMV should be sufficient since there are no court records. That is what I am thinking, on the issue.
