Drivers license renewal based on EAD receipt notice

Hi,

My wife's EAD will be expiring in two days. All we have is the receipt notice.
Is it possible to get her license renewed based on the EAD receipt notice.
I'll check with the local DMV.

Can you please share your experiences on the simililar lines?

This depends on the state where you live. In the state where I now live, they don't even look at your immigration status. That will soon change, probably.... So yes, ask your local DMV or see their website, you'll probably get more help there.
