Can anyone help me to get my wife, on H4, driver's license...she cannot get SSN here in state of Illinois. Has anyone this year managed to do that in IL?
Nop, you can not get driver's license in ILwithout SSN , Try to convert any other non-immigrant status like f1 or h1 or wait till your EAD comes through.
Other option although is not legal to get DL from state like OH, MI, or IN where SSN is not required.
