Hi, I just wondering if any of you have to renew your driver license during your application period? If yes, what kinda document you used? I lived in NJ and the DMV center tell me wait for a VISA before I renew it. All my other ID is not valid ( I-20, F-1 visa all expired)

Do they give you a temporary visa after the AOS interview? Or during the application? When will I received any form of documents that I can use to prove legally stay in USA?

Your I-94 expired? meaning you are out of status? if so, you will have to wait until you get your EAD.

Is I-765 for EAD?

Yes. Either show that or your Green Card.

Do you have a SSN?

yes you will have to wait for u're EAd to get your drivers license renewed or in some states they will think you are illegal and will detain you till INS comes and verify your processing like they did to a frend of mine in ELPASO, TX.
