Drawbacks if you file your i-140 and i-485 to different INS Service Centers

Your i-485 Service Center will request your i-140 documents from your i-140 Service Center if you file your i-140 and i-485 to different
INS service centers, and thus will cost you a lot of time (several months at least)!! Any Comments?

It\'s happening to me at the moment

NSC has requested my I-140 from VSC. I got this news from the lawyers on Monday. I\'ll keep you posted.

Well may be...

Well My I140 was filed & approved at NSC & my I485 is also filed at NSC. But I was told that they have sent my I485 to make a connection with I140 & I am still waiting.

So for me the approval is already delayed. My RD & ND are in 03/01
