Jain usually schedules the appointments 4-5 days in advance ... so u will have the P4 by the time u are ready to schedule one ...

Do we have to notarize employment letter

I have an Oct 10 interview. I am leaving this weekend.

A questions: Do we need to notarize employment letter? My lawyer says that notarization is not required.. is that right?
However, he did mention that I have to get I-134 notarized. He told us that we dont need I 824.

Does anybody know????
 
thanks im999.. Another question.. what tests does Jain perform? Is there anything like failing the medical test and that causing a rejection of GC?

i had a lengthy conversation with Jain about this ...

even if u are HIV positive, the consulate doesn't reject ur case ... if u can show that u have the ability to take care(thru ur own funds + insurance) of ur treatment in the US .... so if u are in the US and have medical insurance that covers these deseases, then u should be fine ....infact he told me of a couple of cases that were HIV +ve and they got the visa ....

If u are HIV +ve in the blood test then he will do another test to confirm it ...blood test is not a 100% surety that u have HIV ...

Also, if ur xray shows that TB is active then u will be required to go for sputum test.... if its not in an advanced stage, u will be given the visa but u will be admitted upon inspection at the POE ... I think u might be put under quarantine etc ... I am not to sure about that procedure ...

The specific tests that he will do is:

- Physical (be ready to be in ur underwear)
- HIV and Syphyllis (will try to take blood first from the joint of upper and lower arm ...if he doesn't get that then he takes it from the veins at the back of ur palm !!) ....
- Xray u will be sent to an x-ray clinic

We were done within 1 hr ....
