If someone is falsely implicated in a dowry case and an FIR
(police case) has been filed in India, will it affect when s/he
applies for US citizenship? As you know, false dowry cases
have become the order of day and I heard US Dept of State even issued
a travel advisory about this a few months ago. Any information
related to the impact on dowry cases / FIR / police cases in India
on US / Dual citizenship is greatly appreciated.
