Doubt regarding H1 Transfer

:confused: My problem is:

I am on B1 visa in US working for one of our client. I am actually working for company X in India. After coming to US i have applied for H1 thru one consultant. I am expecting my H1B papers by end of November. But at the same time my company in India wants to send me on L1 to USA, after I go back to India on Nov 26th, 2004. I want to come here on H1. Can I transfer my H1B papers from my consultant in US to my company X in India, without getting stamped my H1B papers. Can I do it? Is it legally accepted to transfer the H1, without joining that company, who actually processed my H1.
Pls help me in this regards. Thanking you in advance for your time and help.

My 2 cents:its only my GUESS
First of all, Your case is considered to be a fresh H1, not a transfer,because of your current status(B1).
I think you need to attend for VISA in india- for getting H1B stamp. I am guessing when your H1 is approved they will not issue I-94( as it is a status change fromB1->H1)
