Doubt regarding H1 stamping of new employer

Hi

I have H1 Visa of company A stamped in my passport which is valid till july 31 2006. I moved to Company B last year and transfered the H1 and got new H1 approval of the new employer B valid till march 2008. I am planning for a short trip to India.Is it necessary to get the stamping of new employer B or can re enter USA by july 1st 2006 with the ex employer visa which has the validity till july 31 2006.your advice is appreciated.

Yes, you can enter the country using your old stamping in PP. Just show them the new I-797 so you get the correct I-94 upto 2008 and not upto July 2006. Also, it will be better to check with your company lawyer before leaving the country.
