This is my current situation -
On July 23'rd 2007, I filed for 485 along with EAD and Travel Document, as a dependent to my wife (main applicant) with a priority date of April 2006. Meanwhile, my employer substituted a previously approved labor certification from August 2001 and applied for my 485, EAD and Travel Document and added my wife as a dependent. This application was filed on August 16'th 2007.
Here are my questions -
What happens now? Which 485 application would be processed first (whose gren card would come first)? Would we get EADs from both the applications? If yes, do I get to choose one over the other?
Ideally, I would like to quit my current job ASAP and would just depend on wife's green card application. However, I plan to stick to it until I find the perfect job. Meanwhile, I wonder when the EAD will kick in? I am too confused. Please help with my questions above...
