i-485 rd 6/26/02 recently applied for AP for the first time at vsc RD of 9/26/03and unfortunately have a family emergency

what kind of medical documents are needed to prove an emergency to travel and obtain and emergency AP, and how is pittsburg office reputation for approval of emergency AP

do i have to an additional $110 as fee for emergency AP even though i have receipt notice indicating that i paid the amount for I-131, also do i need to take an additional set of photographs for emergency ap

Go to local BCIS office and you may get the Ap on the same day , may be in 3-5 hours.

You do not have to pay again, need to take the AP receipt with you and they will issue AP against that payment.

Make sure to take PP, Immigration style photo and I-485 receipt with you !

i was browsing AP forum and one guy who went to boston office for emergency AP states he had to pay the fee again ...can some one please clarify
