DORA Dallas...still haven't got anything...

Hello all,

I had my DORA interview on June 26, but my Notice letter has the receipt # on July 11. I already had my Biometric taken on August 2. And, you see, it's been literrally passed 80 days since my interview date! I check the website to see my status like every single day...still it hasn't been updated at all ! It even doesn't mention anything about Biometric results. I did make an effort calling the FBI, they said on the phone that my Biometric has been already transferred on August 2, the very same day....

I'm kinda worried about the process since I also never received anything at the 70th day like most of you guys talk about. Can you guys, if being in the same situation as me, please at least give me some advice? Seriously, I'm sick of waiting without knowing anything in advance

P.S Just checking: my receipt # starts with MSC letters. So which office should I check for processing dates? I check both the Dallas District Office and the National Office....both are barely updated....

I did DORA interview on June 20, and became PR as of Aug. 15. My guess is that you are probably stuck in the name check. The FBI told you that your fingerprint check has been returned, but that does not mean that you passed the name check. Make an Infopass appointment and find out about your case status.

A couple of points:

I never got an update about them receiving my FP's either. Just got the welcome letter in the mail about a month after biometrics appointment. So dont worry about the online case status - not reliable.

Also, dont check processing dates for Dallas or the NBC - those are not for DORA cases.

My case came through in a little more than 50 days, but that varies, depending on the name check. Besides, you are not on 90 days yet. I would get an Infopass and enquire - do not worry too much at this stage.
