Don't know the status of my labor !!!

Hello there,
My labor was applied over 2 1/2 years back and according to the labor website it must have cleared the SESA by now... But i just don't know..

My company has warned us from talking to the lawyer as they say it only accounts to confusion. On my asking them to please find it out, they told me that the lawyer will let them know when it comes in and then they will let me knwo also...

I am running out of time as my H-1 expires Oct'03 and this is not a good feeling...

is there any recourse to this

Which SESA/Regional DOL office your application went to???

Well, I want to mantain my privacy here... so I can't tell you that... However some other people who had applied at the same time have gotten their labor cleared....

Hence the issue...

I don't think anyone will be able to help you out if you have decided to maintain your privacy........

In that case, you have no choice but to wait for your company lawyer to get back to you/employer.
 
you will still maintain your privacy by letting us know where you applied. as long as you do not give your file number your secrecy is good.
 
I smell something fishy from your company's side.

See practically there is no other way for you except getting detail from your lawyer. Try to convince your company that is only way out.

Assuming that you meant 6 years getting over when you wrote H-1 expires Oct'03 - set the pretext with your employer for extension for 7th year - you will come to know of reality.

If you go through above thread thoroughly, you can find a lot of information which might be useful to you if you have LC pending in Phily Regional DOL..

Anyway you can call Phily AVM system; (215) 861-5286 and get status regarding your case. You need employer phone # to access that information. If your company had filled multiple LC application, then you might need to do some guessing based on dates and DOT code.

Also you can send a mail to Philly DOL system. Address to use: LCSTATUS03@doleta.gov

Do not specify any in subject.

In body :

Case 12345678 - to get status for a case.

OR

Employer Phone (xxx) xxx-xxxx - to get recent history of LCs from ur employer
