I forgot that in order to vote, only registrating is not enough, it seems one need to do something else in roder to vote
It depends on the state. For example, in Washington state, you only need to go online and register to vote. The only actual information they require is the state DL/ID number and a home address; in addition, you have to declare under penalty of perjury that you are a US citizen, but they never check whether it's true or not. It's a very easy and straightforward process.
