Read Atlanta daily article. They are investigating and checking all those who got GC under employment category. Some people who changed jobs after 8 months are being served deportation notices for fraudulant intent!!!!!.
So don't change your jobs for a year.

It not easy to prove fradulent intent in this economy. One can move due to family reasons, stress at workplace, health reasons or whatever. To prove that the petitioner had the intention to quit while applying for the G.C. is difficult and would certainly involve a lawsuit involving testimonials from friends and family. You do realize that this stipulation is completely opposite to the AC21 clause ? BankeBihari2003 where did you find this stuff ?
 
I am sure that this BankeBihari2003 is a Desi employer. Some of those petty folks roam around this chat room to spy on us. They always post info that discourages people from changing jobs

Or he is not getting people to work for him. Nobody wants to stay with desi dealer because this Fu???????? desi doesn't pay on bench.
There is no rule that you can't change job after getting GC. I personally know two people who kicked their employer within a week after getting their job.

show us the link, or tell us which day which column of the newspaper you saw it so we can find it. don't just talk.

I checked Lexis-Nexis. There is no such article. This is just disinformation put out to fool gullible people.

We all know that there are plenty of ***holes like this 'BankeBihari2003' and also lots of ungrateful Desi Companies. But remember one thing, majority of us are here because of these Desi Companies. Let us be grateful for that and not be like them.

There is only one news paper that is worth reading... its called Atlanta Journal Constitution (www.ajc.com). I couldnt find any article that implied what the person said.

Judging by the fact that its his first post, I think it may be one of the regular pranksters. I guess we did get fooled after all.

To all the pranksters/abusers, the site now has volunteer moderators. So you will be kicked out as soon as you come in.

Take your trash somewhere else! A month after I got my gc I was given notice for layoff. Its now 7 months after that incident and still going strong... dummy...
 
BankeBihari2003, i think you should not only keep your job for 1 year after you get green card, maybe you also should consider keep your shirt unchanged for 1 year so the INS can still recognize you as the same one on the photo, in case they want to interview you...
