Done with finger prints - Need Help

Hi,

Me and my wife went for FP on June,4th(same day),Alexandria,VA and done with FP.with in same day my wife's status changed online and got message for Interview for next month.But till now my status not changed ,its almost 3 weeks completed.

- Please tell me why till now my status not changed like FP done next for Interview ...
reply any one had the same issue like this and after how many days they got the interview letter or online status change.

There is nothing unusual or alarming about your situation. Before an N-400 can be put into a queue for interview scheduling, all the necessary background checks must be completed, including the FBI Name Check.

For some people the FBI Name Check takes just a few days (presumably that was the case for your wife), but sometimes it can take several weeks or several months and in rare cases even longer. It is basically entirely unpredictable.
Wait for about 4-5 months since the date of filing N-400. If your status has not changed by then, start making inquiries (file an e-request https://egov.uscis.gov/e-request/Intro.do , schedule an INFOPASS etc). But at the moment it is way too early for that.
