DOL in Texas

Hi all,

I had my state labor cleared in Sept2000 and my DOL was filed in Oct 2000. This is in Texas. We had a lots of lay offs in my company after that. I heard from our lawyer that DOL has kept the cases on hold. Does it mean that, I am not going to get it? Is there any way staying in the same company, I could process my Federal Labor?
