Doing second FP early in Oakland

I have received my second FP notice for Sept 23 at Oakland. Does anybody have experience in doing this earlier in Oakland? Do they allow it? I know some people have done it earlier - what I don't know is if the Oakland ASC is okay with this practice.

Any help is appreciated.
 
I went on time @ Oakland, but my spouse was ahead of schedule (couple weeks early). The guy at the door didn't want to allow early FP, but after some persuation he accepted.
Initially he told us that Wednesdays and Saturdays are the days when they accept ahead of schedule FP (we were there on Monday).
So try Wednesday or Saturday.
 
We went 5 weeks early and they rejected. They told us to come back 2 weeks early. Then I went a week early, without asking anything they allowed. SO far I went 3 times to Oakland, all 3 are on Saturdays. 2 times I find no one at 3.15 pm (they close at 4). So try to be there around 3.15. If you have valid reason, they do allow early FP. If you want to do early FP, go to San Jose. My FP was scheduled at Oakland for 09/07/2004. I did at San Jose on 08/10/2004. No questions asked. No queue. Very good experience.
 
oakland fp

I did early fp at Oakland 10 days back on Saturday. Reached there at 3.00pm . They said they don't allow early fingerprinting but we told them that at appointed date we will not be in town. They allowed us. And the place was empty. We were out in 15 mins.

Thanks, Novis. I will try that. I live in Sunnyvale. Better to go to San Jose than drive 45 miles out to Oakland.

Just out of curiosity - have you been approved. Trying to figure out how long it takes to approve after second FP.

Yes i have been approved. Within 3 weeks of early FP(first FP though). Do it ASAP.
