I am expecting an interview date in a few months in Ankara/Turkey. In the meantime, I am waiting a Favorable Recommendation (applied via No Objection, J-1) from the Department of State. It has been three months since they received the NOL, but there has been no update since then!!!
Can I do the interview only with the notice from the DOS, or do I really need the actual waiver document from USCIS? I'm running out of time and there is nothing to do. I know it's just a matter of time but I don't know how to make things faster in the DOS. I called them many times, I also applied for the senator's assistance.
