I do not know where to start, this is a long story but in short...
By this comming december my stay in US would be 10 years.
Started MS in 1992;scared to graduate because of recession;
graduaated in 94;my luck got handfull of offers;
started first time GC process in 96;frustrated with the treatment
from the company for my GC;Labor itself took more than 2 years;
quit the company;stopped the GC process;
later found a small company;win win situation;GC + good salary & company
looking for good revenues;found a good attorney(the god) who is hosting
our wonderfull website;started in RIR(Dec 98);whole labor certification took only
4 months;company guy asked me to wait to apply for I-140 because company
revenues were not that good;after a wait of one good quarter company gave green signal;got I-140 in 5 months(Dec 99);I thought every thing was going smooth;
Here comes the big wait with the great I-485; applied in (Dec 99); got finger prints after every body got(peers)(April 18,01); Went on hold for 2 months from May 09,01 to July 09,01 for some FP/FBI(criminal) checks;INS issued RFE(July 26, 01) to resubmit the I-485 application after couple of calls from Congressman\'s office(which really moved my case); strange right; In my 2 years of my acquaintance with this 485 chat board I have never seen anybody getting this kind of query; It was a mistake by the paralegal;I noticed that and requested paralegal to fill the unfilled items, when I originally filed;but the application went to INS with unfilled portion of I-485;Answered query to INS on Aug 16, 01;All my friends whom I know and all the friends,who statred with me, on this board , say almost all got but I have been left behind until this day.
Until yesterday AVM sang the same, finally this morning I heard the great news.
God is there for everybody and everybody will have his/her great day.
You can take my case as the worst case for delays, this means you are all(the long waiters) in the line for the approvals.

for directly or indirectly keeping my hopes for GC alive.
