Does your residence address in 485/140 application really make a difference?

I applied for 140/485 in Neberaska in Dec 2003. That time i was in chicago so showed the chicago address. Now i moved to Des moine,Ia( with a new client, but the parent company who applied for my greencard is same there in Chicago). When i see the district processing time i see a huge diference between chicago and Des moines,Ia.
for Chicago...

485 now processing Aug 07,2001

for Des moines

485 now processing March 01, 2003

So if i change my address to Des moines by calling INS, will it make my processing faster?
Will it be a problem that my employer is placed in Chicago and i am in another place?

Please clear me guys..

yea my attorny says that he applied using my companies addres which is Chicago.
Is there any way i can change it? What is the risk in that?
