Does using PP for I-140 speed up I-485 approval?

I have seen a couple of concurrently filed cases on this and other forums where Premium Processing was used to get I-140 approved within a few days, then I-485 was approved a few weeks later. Has anybody else noticed this?

We all know that the gap between I-140 approval and I-485 approval is usually several months. I'd like to know if it would be worthwhile to apply for PP to I-140 in order to get quicker approval of I-485.

Any opinions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
