Does USCIS still issue an Interim EAD?

I haven't received any biometrics appointment notice and EAD approval notice (and EAD card). The online status shows my EAD is still pending. I visited the INFOPASS and the IO said it's approved. I need my EAD badly to continue my employment, so I want to apply an Interim EAD if USCIS still offers it.
