I have filled my unmarried 4 kids under F2B and received welcome letter to proceed the processing.
One of them has lost her birth certificate and it will take long time to obtain a duplicate. my question is:
Will USCIS send all the documents I have submitted to them at the time of filling to NVC or embassy to match with the original? If yes why NVC asks for the same ones? For example I have submitted copy of her birth certificate with translation and NVC is asking for exact something. I do understand if NVC asks for the original documents but asking for what exactly USCIS asked for does not make sense unless USCIS does not send the file to NVC or embassy for interview.
