Does USCIS do State check

FBI deals with Federal Crimes. DUI is a state law violation. I am not sure if USCIS does a state check. Does it?

Good point by Diavon what types of checks does the USCIS do, is the FBI only on a federal level or will it pull up state records such as Traffic violations, outstanding misdameanor warrants ect..
