my friend was granted with asylum, after she got travel passport and flew to europa and came back in few weeks. after 3 months she applied for green card , and when it was almost ready , she received a letter ,where was wrote that her status is in adjusting. does anybody know why this happened, or what can be the problem, does traveling outside the US with travel passport affect somehow green card(based on asylum) issuing? please give me any advices, what can she do about this.
