This is the latest update we received via email from the USCIS

On February 27, 2008, we mailed you a notice that we had registered this customer's new permanent resident status. Please follow any instructions on the notice. Your new permanent resident card should be mailed within 60 days following this registration or after you complete any ADIT processing referred to in the welcome notice, whichever is later. If you move before you get your new card call customer service. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow the link below to register.

What is ADIT processing?

Excellent!

Except for, I filed a change of address last week with USCIS and my husband did his online. I mailed mine... ARGH!

If it goes to the old address, will they forward it? Or is that going to take another 6 months to fix?

Here is a thread discussing ADIT processing.

About your address change ... if the GC is sent to the old address, it may or may not be forwarded. Some notices that USCIS sends are marked "do not forward," and even if you have forwarding service with USPS they may or may not forward it to you. Is there a way you can request a favor from the folks who live at your old address to watch out for it?
