Does the status and date change when one's name check is cleared

this is what I was told by a VSC SCR today. Does the message and/or date change when the name check results get in??? or was she just telling me this to get me off the phone?

has anyone whose name check has been cleared in recent times noticed any LUD on their case status when the name check results came in?

She was probably just another ill informed CSR or just wanted to dodge the question. My name check cleared recently - about a month back, but there has been no LUD so far.

There is no rule that there will be LUD and message will change when name check is complete and neither a rule that it will not be updated.
My wife's security check was completed recently and we had LUD change but no message change, although mine is not cleared yet.

Namecheck clearing will not automatically lead to an LUD.

However, if the namecheck is cleared and USCIS resumes processing of the case, this might lead to an LUD update.
