Does the process is going to be delayed for plastic card?if u get stamped in different center? for expample..u r 485 is approved under CSC and stamped in DETROIT which comes under NSC.

My case might be an exception but I have been waiting for 3 months now for my card. My 485 was approved at CSC and passport stamped at Charlotte, NC (TSC). It typically takes 3 weeks after stamping in Charlotte to get the GC.

I would be interested to hear other experiences as well.

Call the National Customer Service Center and be prepared to be on the phone for more than an hour.

Have your WAC#s, A#s Receipt Date and Notice Date information handy while to talk to the USCIS person. Typically they would initiate and inquiry and in my experience you should see action in a week to 10 days whatever that be.

Relax and enjoy life friend, you have got the stamping, card will eventually arrive whether it does in 3 weeks or 30 weeks.

No point in worrying too much about it, it is not going to help too much, only thing you have in your control is calling National Customer Service # every 2 weeks if you do not see action going forward.

That is why I said it differs for different people, bottom line is there is no set pattern, all you can do is keep calling the national customer service and hope something happens, in my case it happened, I can only hope and pray you also have the same luck.
