Does taking a part-time job on EAD cancel the H1B

Hi, I am working for the company who sponsored my GC. Now I
want to take a part-time job on my EAD. Will this cancel my H1B?
Also will this affect my GC processing?

Once you use EAD your H1 status is automatically cancelled. So if you take a part-time job using EAD, your H1 is no longer valid. The GC process will not be affected as long as all your dependents have filed for GC and you have the receipt for their 485.

Of course, you will have to consult your attorney for any specific information!
