I am just confused if stamping on the passport is a absolutly required to get a physical green card?

If somehow one does not go for stampin, is he not going to get GC or will it be delayed or else?

Please respond....

What is the problem in going for stamping? When you go for stamping they will take your finger prints and latest Photo for the green card. Ask your attorney i am not sure about this.. but, I am going for stamping.

It's better to go for stamping. I think they will only order the plastic card after you show up for the stamp, with the FP and photos, at the field office. I've seen some posts where the plastic card is received even w/o the passport stamp. I think that is an exception and not the norm. Just relax, have a joy ride/drive, and go for stamping.

The only reason i wanted to avoid stamping is that I just got CA PR. So its easier to enter canada without stamping as they might question it. Just thinking for maintaining both residency if GC gets approved to a certain time limit if possible.

Any other idea how can we maintain them....

Guys,

I still have not got any answer whether we can get physical green card without going for any stamping or not?

Any experience...

I would say, follow your approval notice.

In my case it was clearly mentioned to go to the nearest USCIS center and get fingerprinted/photo etc.

I don't think you can get plastic card without stamping because they need you FP and new photo to order the card. Go for it!
