Does Spouse go out of status because of quitting her job after using ead

My wife came here on a H4 visa. Thereafter we applied for AOS, & she got her EAD & AP. After that, she got a job & quit her job a few months later. Does she become out of status because of this ? I know that once you apply for EAD you lose the H4 status, so is there a way out ?

If you and your wife have filed your I-485, you are in status. All an EAD allows you to do is work while your applications are pending. She could start another job tommorrow if she likes or stay home or start a small business.
