Dear all,
I am going to file I140/I485 concurrently and preparing the documents required by the lawyer. However in the list from the lawyer, there is no police certificates. I talked the lawyer and was told that I do not need a police cert.
A few of my friends told me that during their GC application process, they were asked to get the police certs.
I stayed in a few countries before coming to US. If I need the police certs, I have to spend some times to get them from all countries I once stayed. This will take some times. My questions are:
1. Do I need the police certificates from all countries I once stayed?
2. I do have the police certs for some of the countries, obtained before I left the countries. If I do need the certs, are the certs I already have good enough or I have to obtained ones with latest dates?
