Does passport stamp contains "US Immigration" ( read inside ) ?

I got the passport stamped yesterday and it has everything except any stamp of INS. So
by just looking at it you can\'t say whether it is stamped by INS or somebody else.
Is this the case for everybody >?

No, It will not have INS stamp on it. It will just say "Temporary Evidence for Permanent Residence...." and may have the A# also below that.
