I haven't got my FP yet. Make me nervous.
They said the process will take to 175 days. She doesn't know the time to FP or Interview. But still I want this thing to be done. I tried to talk to an IO, but she won't let me. Is that because I filed the case based on marriage? So take longer than usual? Anyone have the same experience?

No - they cannot discriminate based on how you filed. I really think your ASC or application support center is booked and that is the only reason why you aren't getting the FP notice. If you don't get anything in 60 days AFTER you NOA, then please call the 800# and ask to speak to an Immigration Officer, or schedule an InfoPass.

Thanks Lolali

I don't think the fact that you are applying based on marriage has anything to do with not receiving your FP notice yet. It seems that it really has more to do with your SC and your DO. Many people at different SCs applied well after you yet have received their FP notices. In my case, my GC was employment based and although I received the NOA on Nov 21 (my PD at CSC was 8-21-07) I have yet to receive the FP notice. My DO is Santa Ana. I also know of one other individual who applied at CSC (Santa Ana DO) and has received the NOA but still no FP notice. Seems like Santa Ana and Sacremento are very slow while places like LA and San Diego are moving faster.

Will keep you posted on my case, as well as that of the other individual I know, and let you know when anything changes. Eventually, I will start calling to try to get some answers, but not until after the holidays. By then it will be closer to 45 days following receipt of original NOA.

On another note, I checked the Santa Ana website last night and their metrics section still indicates that they are processing N-400s in 7 months (last updated Nov 2007) but then in the text section it notes the standard 16-18 months processing time for N-400s filed after June 1, 2007. The whole thing is very strange, and it is difficult to know what to believe.

For me I never really seen a lot of people in the immigration office in Sacramento not like San Francisco office always crowded and long line. But I've seen a lot of people from SF already got their FP notice. I'm gambling with my destiny right now and hoping to be really nice to me this time. I want to see my mom so badly, but I don't want to renew my passport for all the complication that I will get later on. I emailed senator office in San Francisco and got a replied about my case, but I got scared to pursuit further I'm afraid going to make the wrong move.
