Does LUD mean anything?

It is not some writing in stone, but we do see some patterns that not long after the LUD changed, the case status is also changed. You may hear some good news very soon. Are you willing to share your exact ND? My ND is 4/12/02, FP 6/03, but no changes whatsoever.
My ND is 4/22/2002.
When I got my EAD for last year, they messed up my name and date. Also I did not get the FP notice yet. I called them and the officer was extremly nice, when I asked her about finger prints, her answer was: "Oh, you are in Florida, it is going to take forever, but I will send in a request for you. ". So I am not sure if the Florida thing will have any effect.

Sometimes as safari_tsc put it, it could mean good news is in the corner.
Or it could be a TSC's another novel way of Torture.
I am waiting on my Online filed EAD ( Jan 20th). After I called on 29th April,
they must have touched my case , so i had LUDs on 05/03/04 & 05/05/04.
My hopes were high since then but nothing has changed...torture
Now our APs filed on 13th Apr, got a LUD on 27th May and today I got e-mails
that they have been approved....good news even though i was not in hurry for AP since the current ones expires in sep 04 .

I have to check my AP's also, I filed on 20th April. Anyhow we have H1, H4 are stampped in passport till 2005 march.
Waiting for first FP's.....
One of my friends lawyer told him, they missed lot of FP's from Apr, 2002 to Sep, 2002 because of some failure in INS FP system. He told him like they all are know (American Immi. Lawyers Association) this is going to be discuss in their next meeting with USCIS.

You are too god man...I just replied as i want to check my AP's. They approved just now and the updated just now in their web site...no e-mail still.

I think it should mean closing. My recent APs and L-1A renewnal showed the same pattern. It was updated and then two days later it said the case was approved. Also we filed AP for my wife and daughter and myself on same day (04/09/2004), but mine was not touched while my wife and daughter's were approved on May 28/2004.
Unfortunately nothing happened on our I-485 since FP on 04/16/2003.
