does labor certification expires after certain time??

One of my friend
1) Joined Company A . Company A got his labour approved
2) He joined Company B and spent 5 years with Company B
3) Now he plans to join back Company A since Company A still has his approved Labour.

The Question is
Is this labour Valid now (after 5 years) ??

Yes, it should still be valid. Labor certification is valid indefinitely. It does not have any expiration date.
