I got COS to L1A from L1B. I have GC Labor pending and with the current processing time will get LC cleared in July 2006. My current L1A is valid till Feb 2006.
My employer/attorneys are saying that, me already being in L1A doesn't automatically qualify me for the EB1 category and skip the LC part.
Is this true?
If so what additional documentation is needed for the INS to go into the EB1(with approved L1A)
They are asking me to convert H1B so that we are safe.
I don't want to change H1.
I had heard that in L1A , I can get yearly extension after 7 year stipulation.
Is that true also?
I need to make this decsion very soon. TIA for your responses.
