Does kids need to get stamp by themselves?

I am wondering if we need to bring kids (6 years) for green card stamp. Any experience?

stamp is the only acceptable evidence of permanent residence until the actual card arrives, specially for employment and/or travel.
Kids under 14 do not fingerprints to be taken for the card and will eventually) get the card even if they do not show up for stamping. Adults have to show up and get fingerprinted. This fingerprint is in addition any previous fingerprinting and is only to make the card.

Yes, in NSC area kids also need to get i-551 stamping and give the finger prints,INS officer will ask them to sign ,if they able to sign.

Kids under 14 are NOT required to give fingerprints OR sign for the card.

nkm-oct23 is right. Kids are not asked to give finger prints or sign for their card.
