Does it take longer to process passports of naturalized citizens?

When I applied a passport for my daughter (natural-born citizen) a couple of months ago, it took about 3 weeks for the passport to come.
I was wondering if it will take longer for me (being naturalized). My oath-taking is on Sep17 and I am due to travel on Nov.13. Do you think that's enough time or am I cutting it close?

It will make no difference in processing, actually September is not a busy Travel month so it could even be quicker, I got mine in 12 Days without even expediting it.

That should be plenty of time. You can use regular processing and save the expedited fee. If about two to three weeks before your travel date you still have not received it (unlikely), you could call and upgrade to expedited processing over the phone.

Your case is rather exceptional. It depends on the regional passport office - Seattle processes non-expedited passport applications in ~ 4 weeks.

I know, wasn't even expecting it, I guess there's no Rhyme or Reason for processing times. But the OP has plenty of time on his hands even if takes full four weeks.
