Does it mean VSC will slow I485(EB2) processing any time?

Chat User : How much time is Vermont taking to approve I485 case (EB2)?

Attorney Murthy : About 2 years, though VSC made the mistake of approving some late 2000 cases while not processing earlier cases from early 2000 and from 1999. This has caused a lot of confusion among many people and annoyance too, understandably.

2 years seems to be to long. I don\'t think there are many from 99 left.

Don\'t scare us

Don\'t scare us. It\'s obvious that VSC is moving fast right now. It\'s true that we can\'t predict how VSC will progress in the future, but you have no ground to say that after 10-12 2000 cases adjudicated all 2001 485 cases will sit there for long. One of my friend with Sept. 1999 ND wait longer than another of my friend with Feb. 2000 ND. If you can not predict VSC\'s future performance, you should at least not scare all of us in the same boat. We already suffered a lot.

With all due respect to attny Murthy...

I agree that there are few cases pending from end of 99 as well as beginning of 00. VSC is processing them slowly. Since, VSC wants to report the average time taken for I485 processing =
