Does it make a difference to submit I-485 now?

What is the fastest way to get the I-485 if you are not from a retrogressed country?

One thread said that it is even better to submit the I-485 before the last week of June, rather than the last week of June. Is that right?
Are there many new I-485 expected in July, and does that mean that I should file my I-485 immediately?

Is there anything I can do to facilitate the I-485 approval?
I am from Germany, not a retrogressed country. How long does it usually take to get the GC? And is it faster if you are applying via EB1-EA?

If your priority date is current in June (as opposed to July), then yes, you might want to file your I-485 as soon as possible to lock in your receipt date before the onslaught. Make sure your application is complete, including the sealed medical report.

Your chances of getting the Green Card as a German are the same as if you were Saudi Arabian. It depends on whether or not your name is stuck in FBI name check and that your application is complete or they send you an RFE for any reason. Otherwise, the case load and processing times are the same for almost everybody.
