I've heard from time to time that initiating inquiries may trigger INS to process your case. Does it true? I asked my lawyer to initiate an inquiry but he refuced. Reason is that my RD is still within the published processing dates for I140.
Does anyone have experience with this?
I am also thinking to call the 1800 number listed on the INS web site. My lawyer warned us that calling to INS may cause unexpected impact to my case so it's not recommended. Does anyone ever try to call and reach a representitve in INS?
Thanks for any thoughts or comments.
