My EAD application has been pending since Sep 2003. RFE response in Feb 2004 ... then 3 status inquiries ... still no luck. Luckily I still have my H-1 valid till next year [that's how I'm able to work of course]. Can I go to Boston office and apply for an interim EAD? What documents would I need? Does it matter that I have my H-1 valid [I mean, do I have to prove to the officer that it is an urgent need]?
