Does INS take I-94 during I-551 stamping?

Gurus,
I got I-551 stamped on my passport. I also got my green card. But I was looking at the pp and i could not find my I-94. I don't remember if INS took my I-94 when they stamped my PP with I-551. If anyone had gone for stamping and INS took I-94, please let me know.

I think they take I-94 when they stamp your passport. My situation is that I got card already, so there is no need to stamp passport. What should I do with my I-94? Will they take them when I travel aboard?
 
I got my passport stamped ago. I asked USCIS officer what do I do with I-94. She just stated:" Keep it".

Anyway, my I-485 was approved 6 weeks ago, still I have not received my card yet. I don't know what to do. Thanks for the advice.

You don't need your I-94 anymore since you already have I-551 stamp.
