Does INS accept PO box address?

I am planning on moving to NY from dallas. My 485 RD is Mar 15/01. At this point I dont want to make change to processing center. How about a local address change to USPS PO BOX under my name? Employer is willing to keep me in Dallas region payroll so that I can avoid address change...can anyone suggest anything? If not I am caught with the only option of keeping my apartment in dallas eventhough I wont live there after transfer, just to avoid complication with greencard final stages..any help greately appreciated

No INS cannot accept PO address.Need to have a physical address.Retain your apartment and rent(share) it with bachelors/students.In that way you can have your address OR talk to anyone of your friends in Dallas and explain to them about your problem and use their address.
