Does IIO know the case status?

Hi! I talked to an IIO 2 weeks ago, and he said my case has been assigned to an officer. Today, I talked to one again, and he said the case has not been assigned to an officer.

Does anybody has similar experience?

Here\'s the info of my case:
RD 11/09/00
ND 12/13/00
FP 3/20/01

Still waiting. This wait is killing me. I fax them an inquiry just now. Don\'t know whether will ever hear from them.

Hi,

My lawer informed me that, we can fax an inquiry note to INS, three months after my FP date. She furhter told me that faxing such a note earlier, would result in INS dismissing it.

Please let me know if you have other info.

Guys,

I found that instead of asking if case was adjucated, if you can get IIO to locate your FP using WAC# instead of A#, you are closer to approval.
I was told by IIO that they received my FP on May 3rd even though I had done FP on March 24th.

Once they could locate it using WAC # my case was approved on 5/15.
